After spending six months as a Seagull in Pasadena, Neil Fukui left for the Philippines with Reze Canizares of the Pasadena Center. They went to the Philippines to attend the wedding ceremony of Reze's niece, which took place on January 25th of this year. Neil wishes to stay in the Philippines to spread Jyorei and Meishusama's philosophy, so he was very honored and happy to be included in this significant event for both Reze and her sister, Ruby.

Reze lives in Los Angeles and received Jyorei for the first time about six years ago. After receiving frequent Jyorei, she was healed from a weakening heart ailment. As she gained strength, she gave Jyorei to many people. One of her Jyorei recipients was her own sister, Ruby Orendain, who lives in Quezon City in the Philippines. Ruby had visited Reze, who was thought to be very close to the end of her life, and found that Jyorei has a tremendous healing power. Ruby decided to start giving Jyorei to many people who are sick and unfortunate in the Philippines. Although there currently are only a few people in the Philippines who can give Jyorei, there are many more people who would like to learn about Jyorei. Neil has gone there to support Ruby and other members in sharing Jyorei with more people.

Before Neil left, I told him that he was going there to be a contribution to the people of the Philippines; that to be able to love the country and the people is the most important thing. To do that, he needs to learn their language and culture. When you love somebody and look for means to support him or her, God provides a way. Neil is young and ambitious, serious and diligent, and I am confident that Meishusama will guide Neil and provide whatever he needs to help others. It is up to him how much he can give of himself to other people. Almost two months have passed since Neil left America. I have already received three letters from him, and I am very happy to know he is doing fine. I ask for your prayers and support for Neil and his friends in the Philippines. As I was reading his last letter, I remembered when I came to this country for the first time twenty-one years ago. I am now full of gratitude for Meishusama's guidance and all the people who helped me.
